Search arXiv Papers by Query (arXiv API)

arxivapi/search-papers

Searches arXiv, the open preprint server, and returns one page of paper metadata: arXiv id, title, abstract, authors, categories, submission and update dates, DOI and journal reference where the authors gave them, and links to the abstract page and PDF. The query uses arXiv field prefixes such as all:, ti: (title), au: (author), abs: (abstract) and cat: (category), combined with AND, OR and ANDNOT. Up to 50 papers per call, sortable by relevance, last update or submission date, with the total match count. An empty list means nothing matched. Metadata only (CC0), served by Eden Engine; not an official arXiv product.
