arXiv Subject Sets and Categories (arXiv OAI-PMH)

arxivoaipmh/list-sets

Lists every set (subject area) of the arXiv repository with its set code and name: the top-level archives such as physics, math and cs and their subcategories such as physics:astro-ph and cs:cs, about 180 entries. The set codes are what arXiv uses in a record's set membership. Takes no input. Metadata only (CC0), served by Eden Engine; not an official arXiv product.

// 3. learn: read the usage guide at runtime
omnial_learn({ tool: "arxivoaipmh/list-sets" })

// 4. run: price the exact call first, then run it
omnial_execute({ tool: "arxivoaipmh/list-sets", input: { /* see input_schema */ }, dry_run: true })
omnial_execute({ tool: "arxivoaipmh/list-sets", input: { /* ... */ } })

// 5. settle: the call is charged when it finishes, nothing to do
