Lists the top-level groups of the Brazilian federal material catalogue (CATMAT) used in government procurement on Compras.gov.br: each group's numeric code, name, whether it is active and when it was last updated. Pass the page number; the response says how many pages exist and how many remain. Field names and values are in Portuguese. Passed through unaltered, field for field, under the portal's CC BY-ND 3.0 licence. The records are catalogue classes only, with no supplier or personal data. Compras.gov.br open data, served by Eden Engine; not an official Compras.gov.br product.
