Look Up a Research DOI's Metadata (DataCite)

datacite/get-doi

Looks up one DOI registered with DataCite and returns its full metadata: creators, titles, publisher, publication year, resource type, subjects, descriptions, rights, funding references, related identifiers, geolocations, plus view, download and citation counts and dates. Works for datasets, software, theses, preprints and reports from repositories such as Zenodo. An unregistered DOI is a not-found provider error. DataCite metadata passed through unmodified and served by Eden Engine; not an official DataCite product.
