Searches the dati.gov.it Italian national open data catalogue for datasets matching a query, and returns the number of matches and, for each dataset, its title, notes, publishing organization, licence (license_id, license_title, license_url), tags and resource list with download links. Only datasets under CC BY 4.0, CC0, the Italian Open Data License 2.0 or public domain are returned; others are filtered out. The licence is set per dataset by its publisher, so read license_id on each result and credit the publishing body. Titles and notes are in Italian. Dataset metadata passed through unmodified and served by Eden Engine; not an official dati.gov.it product.

The catalogue site data is CC BY 4.0 unless otherwise indicated; only datasets under CC BY 4.0, CC0, the Italian Open Data License 2.0 or public domain are returned. The licence is set per dataset (see license_id and license_title): cite the source, name the publishing body and flag any changes. Served by Eden Engine; not an official dati.gov.it product.
