Search the Text of Japanese Laws by Keyword: Matching Sentences and Their Laws (e-Gov 法令検索)

Full-text search across the sentences of Japanese statutes by a keyword in Japanese (for example 個人情報). Returns the matching sentences, each with the law it belongs to (law ID, law number, title, category, revision and enforcement dates) and its position in the law, plus the total number of matching sentences. Choose 1 to 50 sentences per call and page with an offset. Sentence text contains HTML markup, with the keyword wrapped in a span tag. A keyword that matches nothing returns a not-found error rather than an empty list. Data from the e-Gov 法令検索 law database of the Digital Agency of Japan, passed through unmodified and served by Eden Engine; not an official Digital Agency product.
