ENA Sample Search (Biological Samples by Taxon or Query)

Searches the European Nucleotide Archive's public biological samples with ENA's query syntax, for example tax_eq(10090) for mouse samples or sample_accession=SAMEA2591098 for one sample. Each sample returns its accession, the submitter's free-text description and its taxon id; up to 100 samples per call, with no paging offset, so narrow the query to reach others. A query that matches nothing returns an empty list. Descriptions are written by the submitters and can be long. European Nucleotide Archive data as served by Omnial, not an official EMBL-EBI product.
