Variant Effect Prediction from a dbSNP rs ID: Consequence, SIFT, PolyPhen (Ensembl VEP)
ensembl/variant-effect-by-rsid
Predicts the consequences of one known genetic variant named by its dbSNP rs ID (for example rs56116432) using the Ensembl Variant Effect Predictor: most severe consequence, and for each affected transcript the gene, impact, amino-acid change, codons and SIFT and PolyPhen predictions, plus known co-located variants. A variant with several genomic placements returns one result for each. Default annotation only; no third-party plugin scores. An rs ID that does not exist returns a validation error. Ensembl data, passed through unmodified and served by Eden Engine; not an official Ensembl product.
Price
$0.0026 per call
You pay the price shown. If a call turns out to cost more than its quote, you pay the actual price, capped at twice the quote. No monthly minimum. Top-ups start at $5.
