Europeana Cultural Heritage SPARQL SELECT

europeanasparql/sparql-select

Runs one read-only SPARQL SELECT over the metadata of Europeana, the European digital library of museum, archive and library collections, and returns the SPARQL JSON results. The outer query is capped at `limit` rows (default 100, at most 500); write no PREFIX lines and no # comments, so write every IRI in full in angle brackets (for example <http://xmlns.com/foaf/0.1/Organization>). Item titles and descriptions sit on the ore:Proxy node (via <http://www.openarchives.org/ore/terms/proxyFor>), not on the item itself. Heavy joins can time out or fail with a gateway error, so keep queries selective. Metadata is CC0; the digital objects and thumbnails it points to keep their own rights statements. Passed through unmodified and served by Eden Engine; not an official Europeana product.
