Read-Only Contract Call (eth_call) on an EVM Chain

evmrpc/call

Runs a read-only call against a contract at the newest block and returns the raw ABI-encoded result as hex. Nothing is sent or signed, and nothing changes on chain. You supply the contract address and the hex calldata (4-byte function selector plus encoded arguments), for example 0x70a08231 plus a padded address for an ERC-20 balanceOf. A revert answers VALIDATION with the node's reason and revert data in the message. Read from public nodes that offer no SLA and can be slow, throttled or a block behind; a failing node is replaced by another operator's automatically. Served by Eden Engine; not an official product of any chain or node operator.
