FDIC Insured Banks Search: Name, City, State, Assets (FDIC BankFind)

fdic/search-institutions

Searches the FDIC BankFind index of FDIC-insured United States banks and savings institutions. Narrow with the service's filter syntax (for example STALP:NY for banks in New York, or NAME:"First Bank" AND STALP:IA) and name the fields to return (for example NAME,CITY,STALP,ASSET). Each match is a record under data.data; meta.total is the number of institutions that matched, so a count needs only limit 1. The index includes institutions that are no longer active. A filter that matches nothing returns an empty list, not an error. FDIC data as served by Eden Engine; not an official FDIC product.
