The documents currently on public inspection at the Federal Register: rules, proposed rules and notices that agencies have filed and that are scheduled for the next daily issue but are not yet published. Filter by keyword, agency or document type. Each item gives the title, type, issuing agencies, the scheduled publication date, when it was filed, whether it was a regular or special filing, its page count, and a link to the pre-publication PDF. It lists only the current public inspection list, not past ones, and an empty list is a normal answer. A public inspection document is not legal notice and its scheduled date can change: the official publication is the Federal Register issue itself. Data from the Office of the Federal Register, National Archives and Records Administration, and the Government Publishing Office; Federal Register material may be reproduced without restriction (1 CFR 2.6).
