Searches the Federal Register, the U.S. government's daily journal of rules, proposed rules, notices and presidential documents, back to 3 January 1994. Filter by keyword, agency, document type, and by publication date, comment-deadline date or effective date. Each result gives the title, type, abstract, document number, citation (such as 91 FR 64760), agencies, publication date, effective date, comment-close date, comment link, whether it is marked significant, docket and regulation identifier numbers, and links to the official PDF on govinfo.gov. The count says how many documents match, up to 10,000. The Federal Register website is an unofficial rendition: check the official PDF before relying on a document for legal purposes. Data from the Office of the Federal Register, National Archives and Records Administration, and the Government Publishing Office; Federal Register material may be reproduced without restriction (1 CFR 2.6).
