Elevation at a Point in Japan (GSI)

gsielevation/elevation

Returns the ground elevation in metres at a longitude and latitude in Japan, from the Geospatial Information Authority of Japan's digital elevation model, with the name of the source dataset used (1 m or 5 m laser survey, 5 m photogrammetry, or 10 m contour DEM, always the most accurate available at that point). A point with no elevation data, such as open sea, is refused as a validation error. GSI data passed through unmodified and served by Eden Engine; not an official GSI product.
