State Hospital Bed Capacity and COVID-19 Occupancy, Daily Time Series (HHS)
healthdatagov/hospital-capacity-by-state
Daily hospital capacity by US state or territory from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services COVID-19 reporting: total inpatient beds, inpatient beds in use, and inpatient beds in use by COVID-19 patients, newest date first. Filter by state and date range with a SoQL condition and choose how many rows to return. Counts are text strings as the source sends them. The dataset stopped updating after 3 May 2024, so it covers January 2020 to late April 2024, and no adjustment is made for hospitals that did not report. A filter that matches nothing returns an empty list. U.S. Department of Health and Human Services data, passed through unmodified and served by Eden Engine; not an official HHS product.
