Offshore Leaks Name Matching: Scored Candidates for a Company or Person (ICIJ)

icij/reconcile-match

Fuzzy-matches a name against the ICIJ Offshore Leaks Database (Panama Papers, Pandora Papers, Paradise Papers, Bahamas Leaks and Offshore Leaks) and returns candidate nodes with a similarity score, a match flag, the node id and the node type. Optionally restrict to one type: Entity, Officer, Intermediary, Address or Other, and cap the number of candidates. A name nothing resembles returns an empty list. A candidate is a lead to verify, not a finding. Inclusion in the database does not imply illegal or improper conduct, and many people and entities share names.
