ITIS Taxon Record by TSN: Scientific Name, Rank, Classification and Common Names

itissolr/taxon-by-tsn

One taxon from the Integrated Taxonomic Information System (ITIS) by its taxonomic serial number (TSN), for example 180543 (Ursus arctos, the brown bear): scientific name and author, rank, whether the name is valid or accepted, kingdom, parent TSN, the full classification from kingdom down, common names in many languages and the jurisdictions and regions where it occurs. An unknown TSN returns numFound 0 and an empty docs list. ITIS data, passed through unmodified and served by Eden Engine; not an official ITIS product.
