Returns the direct children of a Human Phenotype Ontology (HPO) term: the more specific phenotypes one step below it in the hierarchy, each with its HP id, label, descendant count and translations. A term with no children returns an empty list. Data from the Human Phenotype Ontology (human-phenotype-ontology.org), the current release served by ontology.jax.org, passed through unaltered and served by Eden Engine; not an official HPO or Jackson Laboratory product.
