Searches the catalog of the City of Los Angeles open data portal (data.lacity.org) for datasets matching your search terms and returns, for each, its id, title, description, owning department, last update, column names and types, portal category and the licence the dataset declares (null when none). Metadata only, never the rows. Returns 1 to 10 datasets per call with the total match count. City of Los Angeles data as served by Eden Engine, not an official City product.
