Searches MetaCPAN releases with a Lucene query string (words, fields such as author:, distribution:, license:, status:latest) and returns each match's name, version, uploader, abstract, upload time, licences, main module and tarball URL, newest or oldest first. Data from MetaCPAN, https://metacpan.org, the search engine for the Comprehensive Perl Archive Network, reduced to the fields listed (e-mail addresses are not returned) and served by Eden Engine; not an official MetaCPAN or CPAN product. Each release keeps its own licence (see licenses).
