Coastal Wind, Air Pressure, Air and Water Temperature at a Station (NOAA Tides & Currents)

noaacoops/station-observations

Live readings from a NOAA coastal station's own sensors: wind speed, direction and gusts, air pressure, air temperature or water temperature, as 6-minute readings over the last 1 to 24 hours with the newest last. Pick one measurement per call. Station ids are 7 digits, for example 8454000 for Providence, RI. Not every station has every sensor; a station without it returns a validation error. NOAA Tides & Currents data, passed through unmodified and served by Omnial; not an official NOAA product and not for navigation.

Price

$0.00273 per call

You pay the price shown. If a call turns out to cost more than its quote, you pay the actual price, capped at twice the quote. No monthly minimum. Top-ups start at $5.

Data source

NOAA Tides & Currents

Data from NOAA's National Ocean Service, Center for Operational Oceanographic Products and Services (Tides & Currents), public domain per tidesandcurrents.noaa.gov/disclaimers.html. Served by Omnial; not an official NOAA product and not for navigation.

Use it

Five steps: search, inspect, learn, run, settle. No per-tool setup; your agent reaches this tool through the meta-tools it already has.

Connect once and your AI can find and run this tool, and any other it needs.

agent
// 1. search: find the tool
omnial_search({ query: "what you need" })

// 2. inspect: price and input schema
omnial_inspect({ tool: "noaacoops/station-observations" })

// 3. learn: read the usage guide at runtime
omnial_learn({ tool: "noaacoops/station-observations" })

// 4. run: price the exact call first, then run it
omnial_execute({ tool: "noaacoops/station-observations", input: { /* see input_schema */ }, dry_run: true })
omnial_execute({ tool: "noaacoops/station-observations", input: { /* ... */ } })

// 5. settle: the call is charged when it finishes, nothing to do
