Nomis Jobseeker's Allowance Claimant Count by UK Area and Period (ONS)

nomis/dataset-data

The Jobseeker's Allowance claimant count (Nomis dataset NM_1_1, Office for National Statistics labour market statistics) for chosen UK areas and time periods, for example the United Kingdom in the latest month. Only NM_1_1 is offered. Give one or more geography codes and a measure code; narrow with item and sex codes (a dimension left out returns all of its values) and choose the period, which defaults to the latest. Each observation carries its dataset, area with GSS code, period, value and status, and the response header says whether Nomis truncated the result. A query that matches nothing fails with a Nomis error rather than an empty result. ONS data, Crown copyright, under the Open Government Licence, served by Eden Engine; not an official ONS product.
