NWS Area Alerts (Current Weather Warnings for a U.S. State or Marine Area)
nws/area-alerts
Every weather watch, warning and advisory the National Weather Service currently has in effect anywhere in one U.S. state, territory or marine area, chosen by its two-letter code (TX, CA, PR, or a marine area such as GM for the Gulf of Mexico): event name, severity, urgency, headline, description, instructions, affected areas and when each starts and ends. An empty list means nothing is in effect there. For one coordinate use NWS Active Alerts instead. US only. National Weather Service data as served by Omnial, not an official NWS product.
