OBIS Taxon by ID: Name, Rank, Classification and Habitat Flags

Returns the OBIS (Ocean Biodiversity Information System) taxon record for one taxon id, which is also its WoRMS AphiaID: the scientific name and authority, rank, whether the name is accepted and the accepted name it resolves to, the classification from kingdom to species with an id at each level, habitat flags (marine, brackish, freshwater, terrestrial), the NCBI id and English common names when held. Takes the numeric taxon id (up to seven digits). An id OBIS does not hold returns an empty result list. Taxon registry only, not occurrence records. Ocean Biodiversity Information System data as served by Eden Engine; not an official OBIS product.
