ONS Latest Figure for a UK Time Series (CPI, Unemployment, GDP and More)
ons/time-series-latest
The newest published figure of one Office for National Statistics time series (UK CPI and CPIH inflation, unemployment and employment rates, GDP growth, public finances, retail sales and more): the value, its unit, the period it covers, the release it came from, and the date of the next release. Find the series' uri with ONS Time Series Finder. The value is a string, and for labour-market figures that are three-month averages the period is named by the window's middle month (2026 JUN means May to July). The same series id can exist in several datasets with different vintages, and discontinued series still answer with their last figure: read the dataset, period and release date.
