Searches the FDA's drug product labels and returns the matching labels' full text sections: indications and usage, dosage and administration, boxed warning, warnings, contraindications, drug interactions, adverse reactions, use in pregnancy, overdose, description and how supplied, plus the brand and generic names, manufacturer, active substances, NDC codes and label version date. Covers prescription and over-the-counter products. Labels are long, so at most 5 come back per call. The reply also carries the total number of matches and the FDA's own notice that the data is unvalidated and not for medical decisions. Taken directly from the FDA's openFDA drug label API.
