Our World in Data Chart Metadata (Title, Units, Sources and Citation by Slug)

owid/chart-metadata

Returns the metadata of one Our World in Data chart by its slug, for example life-expectancy: the chart title, citation, the default selected countries, and for each data column its unit, short and long titles, description, timespan, the data-source citation, last and next update dates and the OWID indicator id. This is metadata only and carries no data points; use owid/chart-values for the latest or a chosen year's value. Our World in Data content is CC BY 4.0, and third-party data in a chart keeps its own licence, named in the column citation. A renamed slug answers a redirect that is refused, and an unknown slug answers NOT_FOUND. Our World in Data data as served by Omnial, not an official OWID product.
