Gene Ontology Term Search by Keyword (QuickGO)

quickgo/go-search

Searches the Gene Ontology (GO) for terms matching a keyword or phrase and returns, per match, the GO accession, name, definition text, aspect (biological process, molecular function or cellular component) and obsolescence flag, with the total hit count and page info. Matching is loose, so a query that matches nothing precisely can still return loosely related terms. Gene Ontology Consortium data (CC BY 4.0) as served by Eden Engine through QuickGO; not an official EMBL-EBI product.

// 3. learn: read the usage guide at runtime
omnial_learn({ tool: "quickgo/go-search" })

// 4. run: price the exact call first, then run it
omnial_execute({ tool: "quickgo/go-search", input: { /* see input_schema */ }, dry_run: true })
omnial_execute({ tool: "quickgo/go-search", input: { /* ... */ } })

// 5. settle: the call is charged when it finishes, nothing to do
