Reference Sequence Metadata by MD5 Checksum: Length and Identifiers (GA4GH refget, ENA)

refget/sequence-metadata

Returns the GA4GH refget record for one reference sequence held in the European Nucleotide Archive's CRAM reference registry, looked up by its 32-character MD5 checksum: the sequence's length in bases, its MD5 id and any aliases, with the TRUNC512 and GA4GH digests when the registry has them (usually null). Use it to confirm a reference sequence exists and how long it is before fetching a window with refget/sequence-bases. Data from the European Nucleotide Archive (EMBL-EBI), served by Eden Engine; not an official ENA or EMBL-EBI product.
