Daily summary of the Taiwan Stock Exchange main market, one row per trading day of the current calendar month so far: shares traded, trade value in New Taiwan dollars, number of transactions, the TAIEX (weighted index) closing level and its change in points. Takes no input. Dates use the Republic of China calendar (1151019 is 2026-10-19: add 1911 to the year). Every number comes back as a string. Data from the Taiwan Stock Exchange as served by Eden Engine, not an official TWSE product.
