Genome Sequence for a Chromosome Region (UCSC Genome Browser)
ucscgenome/genome-sequence
Returns the reference DNA sequence of a region of a UCSC Genome Browser genome assembly (for example hg38 for human or mm39 for mouse), given the chromosome and the start and end coordinates, optionally as the reverse complement. Lowercase letters mark soft-masked repeats. The response is as long as the region, one base per character, so ask for the region you need and not a whole chromosome. Calls are throttled to one every 15 seconds across all customers. UCSC asks users of the Genome Browser to cite its publications. Data from the UCSC Genome Browser, served by Eden Engine; not an official UCSC product.
Price
$0.0026 per call
You pay the price shown. If a call turns out to cost more than its quote, you pay the actual price, capped at twice the quote. No monthly minimum. Top-ups start at $5.
