U.S. Federal Agency Budget, Obligations and Outlays by Fiscal Year

One U.S. federal agency's budgetary resources, total obligated and total outlayed for each fiscal year from 2017 on, plus its cumulative obligations at each reporting period of each year, from USAspending.gov. Takes the agency's top-tier code (097 Defense, 075 HHS, 036 Veterans Affairs, 080 NASA, 012 Agriculture, 1601 Labor). A U.S. fiscal year N runs 1 October of N-1 to 30 September of N. Budgetary resources are what the agency could spend, obligated is what it committed, outlayed is cash paid; the response's total_budgetary_resources is the whole government's figure, not the agency's. The latest year is incomplete and the year after it is empty. Data is the U.S. Treasury's USAspending.gov (Bureau of the Fiscal Service).
