U.S. County Drought Severity by Share of Area (U.S. Drought Monitor)
usdroughtmonitor/county-drought-percent
The weekly U.S. Drought Monitor statistics for one U.S. county: the percent of the county in each drought category (none, D0 abnormally dry, D1 moderate, D2 severe, D3 extreme, D4 exceptional) for every weekly map in a date window, newest first, with the county name and state. The county is its five-digit FIPS code (06037 Los Angeles County CA, 48201 Harris County TX). statisticsType 1 gives cumulative percentages (D0 includes everything worse), 2 gives categorical ones. A map counts when it is valid on any day of the window. Maps are weekly and start in January 2000, so a window before then or in the future, or a five-digit code that is not a county, returns an empty list; keep the window as short as the question allows. U.S. Drought Monitor statistics, passed through unmodified and served by Eden Engine; not an official U.S. Drought Monitor product.
