Searches Wikidata, the open structured knowledge base behind Wikipedia, for items (Q-ids: people, places, companies, concepts) or properties (P-ids: 'date of birth', 'population') whose label or alias matches a name. Each result gives the id, the label, a short description, which label or alias matched and in which language, and for a property its datatype. Names are ambiguous and the ranking does not put the famous match first, so read the description of each result before choosing an id. Results are in the language you ask for; page with offset. An empty list means no match. Wikidata structured data is released under Creative Commons Zero (CC0 1.0, public domain). Source: Wikidata, wikidata.org.
