Historical entries for one calendar day from Wikipedia's On This Day feed: events, births, deaths, holidays or the editors' selected anniversaries. Each entry has a text, the year (not for holidays) and the Wikipedia articles it links, with extract, description and image links. Month and day are two digits; an impossible date such as 02/30 returns an empty list. The answer is large: births and events run to several hundred kilobytes.
